Altman Communications is a professional copywriting, content and marketing consultancy run by myself, Leon Altman. I started Altman Communications in 1995 after working as a copywriter and creative director at top ad agencies, and as marketing communications director for a magazine for institutional investors.

A brief history
I started as a copywriter over 25 years ago at Wunderman, the top direct response agency in the world, writing for clients such as Met Life and Time magazine.
Copywriter, creative director, marketing director
Since then I've worked with major agencies and companies, as a copywriter, associate creative director, creative director and marketing communications director. Agencies have included Young&Rubicam; BBDO and DDB/Needham.
After heading up marketing communications for the launch of Buyside Magazine (for institutional investors) I became a freelance writer and consultant, and started Altman Communications.
